This is why I believe in not allowing yourself to get heated with other people if it can at all be prevented. Even when driving on the road. The other day, I put my turn signal on to get over and the car behind me seemed to wish to creep on up. Still having enough room to get over even if this guy wanted to try to 'block me' I did so. He didn't like that, so as he passed later -- he gave me the finger. I tried to just tell myself, "don't let this jerk affect you." Of course, it worked for me. Road rage is another area where people get hot under the collar and make stupid choices. They follow the other car, tailgate, or do something to 'get even.' Doesn't have to be a lot that starts it.

Every day I can hardly believe the amount of violence occurring among family members. When I look at the shows, like Nancy Grace, they can hardly keep up with the murders on a daily basis. I know people are under stress, but the amount of violence is growing to enormous proportions. I just can't imagine parents and children murdering each other over such a silly thing as a noisy muffler. Spouse abuse and child abuse are at an all time high. It just makes me so upset that I have to turn off the news.
