I have an ipod..the older version Ipod Video 30gb..I took care of it very well. Unfortunately, one day there is some water spill off in my car and I didn't realise it and my iPod was beside it and somehow, the water went inside my iPod. The whole thing was still ok, but my HOLD key, is unstable, sometimes it can be locked,sometiems it is not..so any help in making my iPod back into shape like normal.I love it way too much..

get somthing like PodPlayer to transfer songs onto your computer then buy new ipod. it will cost as much as two ipods to repair yours. this happened to my sister.
