AI HAIBARA(Japenese)--Anita Hailey(American)!!!---from Conan(or Case Closed)

Ran is an idiot! Why do all Japanime girlfriends have to be "caring, ditzy, energetic, clingy, and dependent?" Haibara would break that tradition if she ends up with Conan. She will prove tht girls can be smart, independent, and realistic about life. She will show that there are many different types of women, not just the "damsels-in-distress." She is not some weak princess waiting for someone to rescue her. She's not phony, or a big fat crybaby. Has Ran learned that Big Girls don't cry? I don't think she figured that out yet. she AWAYS crying. And it's getting really annoying. the key thing is there are so many cute and funny scenes with Haibara and Conan, that the Ran scenes just seem outright annoying and useless! Haibara actually has a part in the story. What is Ran to the story? Some girl who sits around and cries alot for Shinichi. Just because you love someone doesn't mean you can automatically claim him as your own. Shinichi is a free man. Since when did he belong to her? And yet she acts like he has to be with her 24/7 and HAS to see her when he gets back. He might actually have someone else in mind, and he should. As someone who was born on his birthday, i would say that I act alot like him, but I do not like people like Ran. She would irritate me. Thats my spin on it. And if Conan realizes that there are no girls like Haibara, that she is ACTUALLY unique, he might find that she is a far better catch.

heck yea! Haibara has had so many cute scenes with Conan/shinichi that really out-weigh the scenes Ran had with Shinichi. I'm sorry, but when Haibara came, she seemed to gel better with Conan. They have a lot more in common, and they actually understand each other. From the beginning we could see Ran was stupid and didn't show an interest in what Shinichi. Just because the girl likes him doesn't mean he has to like her back. Ayumi likes him, that doesn't mean he has to like her in return. Conan and Haibara have so much chemistry and Haibara actually is an important character. Ran is useless! All she does is think about Shinichi! She needs a life and needs to stop being so clingy. She needs a backbone. More importantly, they need to get rid of her. I think that it gets annoying when all the heroines/girlfriends/females in animes act so stereotypical: helpless, sweet, innocent, energetic, damsels-in-distress, and care-about-the-world attitude, with a hint of "I'm stronger than you know" to prove they aren't "useless" girls. Oh please! Haibara is a breaking point for females and shows some variety. She proves that girls can be smart, independent, and pretty without having to be all "sentimental." Thats not how real women act. haibara actually has a personality and a unique character. Why does every girl have to be so clingy, and sappy? Plus, Ran cries all THE TIME! Does she ever get enough? She cried when Eusike came back, when Shinichi came back, when Shinichi seemed to not be paying attention to her, geez, she cried in almost every episode she was in! Who wants a whiner like that? As someone who was born the same day as Shinichi, that would NEVER be a choice for me!
