What Are Your Surroundings Right Now?

Where are you as you post right now? Are you at home? What room are you in? What is going on? I'm in my bedroom. I don't like having a computer in my bedroom, but my place is so small, this is the only room I can have it in. I have a very large computer workstation, with shelves on five levels, so it's like a shrine in this room. I sometimes wonder about others here, especially those who live in other countries. What is it like when you're sitting here in front of your computer and writing? Are you in a secure place? Do you have heat, food, and other necessities?
Right now, all is quiet here. My pets are sleeping, I'm alone and rather glad to be. No TV or stereo or anything. Peace. How about you?

I'm in our office at my desk with Hubby across from me and Morgana is in the hall licking her foot. I'm about to finish up the last few discussions I'm responding to and then go fix dinner. There's no music or sound other than the fan.

I have a desk top in the front room of my house, but at this very moment I am using the lap top. It is on a TV tray and the television is on. The cats are asleep and lunch is cooking.

im sat in front of the family computor in our front room. There is the tv in the other corner and i like my room. I have a big window behind my head so i get plenty of light and my children are forever running in and out. My home feels totally different in the day to how it feels after dark. Later, my room becomes a place to relax

I am in my living room right now... it is actually pretty quit in here my kid is playing in her room with her toys.
the only thingk i can hear besides that is the tpilet running wich i have got to go fox that..ugh! i hate old appliances.
Yes i have heat, and foot,and all the nacessities.

I am in the basement of our house in Monroe, Michigan USA and it is a brick ranch style house..but the basement is partly finished with bathroom, laundry, bar, work shop, storage room and a area that is for TV and the computer..the basement is cool in the summer..but in the winter I keep a electric heater and use it when it gets chilly..
My wife was in her homeland in the Philippines and had to use the compter cafe and its 15 pesos for 15 minutes (i think_) and she said it was always crowded with younger kids..and they would sometimes be loud and get in her space..and she would complain to the manager..but this was normal..so she missed her home computer..privacy and convenience...it was a job just to her on the telephone as she did not live on the main island of Luzon but in a remote area..so somethings we do take for granted..like driving our own vehicle and compter, tv and cable service...but I sometimes would like to be away from these things for awhile as it would seem to be a very relaxing setting..plus now its winter here in Michigan and its very hot in the Philippines..that what I would like to be experiencing..even for one day right now as its been snowing a lot and it still cold and cloudy..thanks

Well, I'm living in my sister's basement right now. My computer is on top of a small desk in the corner. It's very quiet, and I only hear Kash snoring as she is sleeping in her pink kitty bed, haha. She's pretty old, so snoring is allowed. No TV on, no radio on, so it's pretty quiet. All my necessities are down here, including a bathroom, lol!.........take care!

As I post right now ,I am in my little warm center that the life of the world crowds around.It's a reasonable big room,still small though.I am listening to the song santa cruz,I'm obsessed with it already,it reminds me of my peak-life in heaven.
I was in heaven a while back,or at least used to be.
Now I do have heat ,I do have food and pretty much everything else,but I am living in a limited place,with a vulgar aspect.I am not where I want to be right now,not YET.

Today should be an interesting day :) I'm a University student with the luxury of usually seeing my boyfriend every day, but now I am stuck going home because it is Spring Break and no one is around. I am in my room packing up and hoping that the traffic will be light outside. I have to work for an hour too at 10 pm so that should be interesting as well.

I am in my own home, I have a desktop that sits in the corner of my living room so I sit there, the tv is on the other side of the room so I can see that and watch my favourite programmes at the same time! And the kitchen is just through to the other room so I can just go and make my coffee when I want. Only trouble is that in the day I have 3 little ones around me so sometimes its a bit noisy and a bit hectic when I am trying to concentrate!!

Right now I am sitting at the computer in my living room. I can't say it's nice and quiet because it's a Saturday night. The kids are sitting here watching Herbie the Love Bug and arguing back and forth about what to watch. Soon it will be over and they will be off to bed then. Most any other time I am sitting here in peace and quiet because I choose to do it while they are sleeping, at school, or at my mom's house.
