What is the best place for the family during summer?

Hello dear julyteen. I think that there are two ideal places for my family to spend during hot summer, one in the country, the other on the beach, but I prefer the country as I have relatives in the country and it will be much cheaper for us to live and stay in the country for some time. I love the quiet life in the country, but there is one thing that I hate, that is, mosquitoes, which would drive us away from staying too long. lol. Going to spend some time at the beach is also my dream to be realized. I am sure that one day I will take my family to the seaside for a visit though it will cost us a lot, yet it is worth it as we would be able to see the blue sea. Thanks.

Right now it is summer and I am now at home for the hot summer vacation together with my family. Last summer, my mom, my elder brother, my wife and I went to visit my senior aunt, my mother's elder sister, who stays and lives in the countryside. We stayed only one night and then we drove our way to another city where my cousin worked and lived the next day. We did not stay long, but a few hours before we left for our own city. It is a nice experience and I have to say that I love it because I seldom have a chance to go to visit my aunt and cousins. This summer we have no plan to go anywhere as it is too hot and we prefer to stay home for daily life. I hope that you are enjoying your summer vacation the way you prefer. Yes i love the beach, good for all the family. For me I love walking along the beach. My 3 year old she like rolling down the sand dunes and my eldest daughter loves swimming in the water. Good free entertainment!!

Well of course I can't speak for any other family but my kids and I love camping, going to the beach (unfortunately there arent any around here which sucks), swimming in the pool, going down to the swimming hole, biking, walkin in our woods and so on.....We are TOTAL outdoor summer ppl in this house....The kids even like gardening with me!

In my country there are several beaches and my family and I always make a point to go to the beach at least twice a year. We either put up a tent or we checked in at the resort. But after tsunami hit a few countries, we don't dare to stay in the tent by the beach.

I like to travel to different places. I have been to Thailand several times and there I like the island beaches. The jungles were also nice though. I would rather go to many places instead of just one place many times.

When I was a child I was delighted by a sandy beach with a calm sea to bathe in. I liked to take my bucket and spade to make sand castles. I liked to play hide and seek in a garden next to the sea. I enjoyed jumping about in gentle waves, paddling and swimming in the water. Going to a theme park like Disneyland is another great location that would have appealed to me when I was a child. So a family holiday to Florida could combine theme parks and beaches for a wonderful family holiday. My children like to go to the beach and my older son would like to go to a historical place like Cartage. However when he was younger a beach holiday was very much fun for him.
