Do you own your own home?

Do you own your own home or rent? We own our small 2 bedroom brick home. It has been in the family for years. Hubbies grandmother first owned it then his Uncle. It was given to his mom and she sold it to him for $10! It's nice not to have a mortgage. I lived in apartments for years, so it's been nice having a yard to putter around in. It has his advantages and disadvantages.

We own our home, but we definately did not get the great deal on it that you guys did! That was very generous of his mom. We bought our home in 2001 for $95,000. It has 1920 square feet and is on a third acre lot. We are hoping to buy a new home in a few years, because we have outgrown it (with 6 little ones).

I rent a house with one of my classmates. She is as beautiful as i am lol. We cook in turns and watch TV together. The time when we are together is quite happy!
