Do any of you miss your father?

My father passed away from cancer when I was 13 and the anniversary of his death is coming up on March 17. I always stop and think about him a little extra on that day. He was an awesome dad who loved me so much, and in that short a time I learned so much about how to live life from him. Are you seperated from your father either by distance or time? What things do you miss the most?

Sorry to hear about that. My dad passed away on January 9, 2002. Every time that day rolls by, I just feel sad and that it'd be wrong to be happy on that day. I just miss having a father figure in my life, because no one can replace your real dad. It sucks because he wasn't there when I got my first apartment or any of my other achievements I've accomplished since then. He's there in spirit, but I've got a lot of life left ahead of me and I wish he was here in physical form.

I live away from my parents because of school and that makes me missing my parents.
My father is still alive and I'm thankful to God for that. I love him so much. I visit them twice in a month only and it saddened me everytime I leave home to go back to my place.

my father is still alive but i lost my stepfather december 23 2002 my daughter was not even 2 months old yet he got to see her one time and i think about him all the time he was a great father to us kids and i wish he was still around......but alchol got the best of him and i even have dreams of him from time to time just standing there smiling

my dad passed away dec 15 2002 at 1.pm ill never forget ,i mess him alot of course,i was 40 and it made me feel like i was 8 ,i watched my moms mom (my grandmother)pass away and my mom was in her 50s shes now 68 and i can see it still hurts her i guess its something that is just part of life but its hard

Yeah. I miss my dad a lot. He is still alive but he's away. I pity him for what he's doing to himself. He's life is better with my mom. Now, I can see that he lose some weight. He's not my dad the way I see him before. He's not that happy. He cannot make decisions for what he's other girl have done to him. Actually, he left us for another girl. Though he comes back once in a while. He still moves to the other girl. It really hurts especially for my mom.
I miss my dad when we go for a trip, sadly he cannot come with us. I miss my dad during vacations and he's pieces of advice I also miss his fun and sporty side.
