Gettin' close to sundown

I took this picture on March 7 (despite what the caption says - I forgot to reset the camera's date after February 29). I used to have a fancy filter for a 35mm camera I once had to get this effect. I found out that a dirty windshield accomplishes the same thing, lol.

Beautiful shot! Yah, I have a star filter for my digital camera that I use. Also, using a long exposure can give a cool star-like effect on lights. That's interesting that a dirty windshield does the same!

I washed the car yesterday. I guess I won't be getting the star effect for a few days now, lol.

That darned daylight savings time won't let me get homeward bound sunset shots. But I should be able to get some sunrise shots soon. Maybe. If the angle is right.
