What charity organizations do you like to give to?

I am not a member of a church so I don't pay tithes but I am still looking for a place to donate money to. The concept that you have to be able to give to receive resonates with me but I'm not sure where I want to give. I would love to hear what organizations other people are giving to.

In the past I have not donated any money to a charity. But this year I am. My mom and I are going to be walking in a 5 mile walk this month for Juvenile Diabetes Research. So my mom and I have been raising money and donating a little bit ourselves to the cause. The reason I have choosen this one is because diabetes runs in my family. So this cause is very near and dear to my heart. Best of luck finding the right charity to donate to. There are alot of good ones out there.
