How do you cut your bad habits

When you have a bad habit and you want to get rid of it which way do you choose? Do you cut it gradually so you will get used little by little or you prefer to cut it once and forever? I personally prefer to cut it once and forever...I hate the 'little and little method' If I do not do it then I can never get rid of the habit,for example, I decided to get rid of the habit of drinking Coca Cola every day. It has been one month since I have not bought it again. What about you?

When I like to get rid of a bad habit, I cut it off at once. Like when I want to stop eating junk foods, I quitted immediately. I try to avoid it by not buying nor keeping any junk food in my house. I always put in mind that it is bad and that I should not eat it. Now, I am not tempted anymore to splurge on junk foods even when it's just hanging there.
