Has love treated you good or bad?

You’ve been in love so many times
You think you know the score
But when you've been treated so wrong
You just can't take anymore
And it looks like you will never fall in love again
All those things you heard about them
You thought they were only lies
But when you caught them in someone else’s arms
You just break down and cry
And it looks like you will never fall in love again
You give your heart so easily
You cast aside your pride
But when they fall for someone else
You break up all inside
And it looks like you will never fall in love again
So you say to yourself please don’t make me fall in love again
Has love treated you so bad?

Awwww, what a sad poem, my dear friend. Thank you for sharing it.
To answer your question, yes, I think we’ve all had our disappointments and heartaches along the way, but they’re a lesson in life, and not to be dwelt upon. Once the lesson is learned, you become wiser and your heart becomes stronger, but having said that, I’m a Libran, and quite a stubborn one at that. I won’t give up easily on a relationship that has meant something to me. If I think I’ve found the right person and I’ve committed, then I will do everything in my balancing power to keep pleasure and harmony .
I despise conflict, will be loyal to that “special” person, and am not averse to compromise in order to get things back on track if they break down. I treasure my friends and my relationships, and despite the hurt that comes along from time to time, I will fight tooth and nail to keep that relationship alive. The other person would have to sever the ties, because I would never give up on them, and even if they did so, I would want them still to be around in the capacity of a friend.
Librans are happiest in love, and when they find themselves in love, make loyal, long-lasting partners. They don’t give up easily and are not usually one to break off a relationship. Getting the balance right with a Libra means a loving exchange with a gentle partner. We’re best involved with a special person who understands our need for romance and our search for the perfect environment. Co-operative, imaginative and willing to experiment with all manner of relationship styles, the happiest Libra is one whose relationship is not simply a coupling, but the joining of two people, in spirit, to go through life as one.
So, you see, my desire for harmony and love will not allow me to dwell on a bad relationship, but rather to repair the tears.
Brightest Blessings, my dear friend. x

very nice poem...
i'd have to say that love has been so good to me, but i just didn't realize until i lost the greatest love of my life.
broken hearts can mend, but the pain will never go away. love hurts because you fall into it. but with each fall you'll find yourself stronger everyday. and when you're at your strongest point you'll come to see that love is more likely to stay.
ooookay.. i didn't mean to make that rhyme...
anyway, i wish you luck. no pain no gain :)
