Ok I know its not normal. I had tubes put in my ears about 7 months ago. They worked fine. All of a sudden yesterday my right ear became muffled and had a sense of fullness inside of it. I had already been through this before so I thought maybe the tubes are trying to come out? Of course I wake up this morning and feel the inside of my ear has dry/wet blood. Now I am a litle concerned. Is this what's supposed to happen when tubes come out of your ear? I thought this will occur if its infected!

I've never heard of blood coming out when the tubes start to remove themselves. Two of my children have had tubes put in their ears and they never had any blood drain from their ears. I would suggest you get in to see a doctor as soon as possible because it doesn't sound good. Do you have any ear drops that were prescribed when you went to have the tubes put in? Might go ahead and try to put a couple of those in and lay with them in your ear for a bit.

Thanks for the response. At the time no they didn't prescribe me anything. I went to the doctor. Apparently my body is recognizing (after eight months "looks down" took ya long enough!) to recognize that there is a foreign object that does not belong there. Basically a blood clot is developing to push the tube out. Which is causing the bleeding. NOW my doctor is giving me the droplets to put in my ear to clear off everything. Thank God. I was getting used to the idea of learning the art of sign language.
