Gas Guzzling NEW Cars

With the current state of gas prices, it bothers me when I see brand spanking new cars that go through insane amounts of gas. I'm talking about big ol' trucks and SUV s for instance. Even older vehicles that have obviously just been bought. You can tell because they still have the tag applied for sticker on them. I can understand if you have own the vehicle for a while, you may not have the choice at this time to purchase a car that is a bit more gasoline friendly. It is just when one makes the choice to buy something that is going to go through a hundred dollars a week in fuel, when there are many other choices out there, and then complains about fuel prices increasing. Ticks me off. As consumers, we SHOULD be controlling the market, through supply and demand. Yet when so many people just don't give a f**k, it makes it impossible for those of us who do.
