One of the contestants voted off this week was Danny Noriega. Some people say that his personality has a part to play in his elimination. Do you think that is true? Did he got voted off solely because of his singing or his personality?

I felt his voice was so-so, certainly not Finalist material. His attitude - very pompous I thought and certainly disrespectful. No big loss as far as I can see. There can only be 1 winner and he wasn't the ONE,....

Hi matlgal, good to see you around. Hope all is well. Do you have a favorite yet? I really like David Archuleta, David Hernnadez and Ramiele. As for my favorite I would have to say Archuleta. Have to get the popcorn ready for tonights show. LOL

I think his singing was very good but he was to sassy and disrespectful with Simon. Simon can get away with that, he made this show what it is but the contestants have to show respect and he stepped out of line many times. Also the video he made and put on "YouTube" for everyone to see did not help, I saw the news where they said the video is what got him to loose the votes. He thought his santa claus wish for everyone's mother was cute but it backfired on him so now the only one he can blame is himself.

I haven't seen that video yet. I guess that sheds some light on some of the reasons he got voted off. Thanks for tipping me about the video.
