How do I change my avatar?

I'm relatively new to myLot, so I don't know all the ropes yet. It was pretty easy to set up my profile, add interests and customize the layout on my profile page. However, I am stumped as to how to change my avatar! (The icon that appears with my user name.) I've tried clicking on it and I've looked all over the customize your profile page, but I can't figure it out! Is this something you have to earn? I'm totally into green, but I'm tired of seeing the white guy on the green square. Anyone out there who could help me? Thanks! -Listasaurus.com

Congratulations on your new avatar. When I saw this post half an hour ago you still had that green paper doll avatar. That was very quick. And yea, it's nice to have friends here on myLot. So I suggest you add more friends so your posts will get more responses. Welcome to myLot.

Go to Edit your Preferences on the lft of the screen in the green letters. You see the big box with your current avatar? Make sure you check that little box and then browse your pictures and upload an avatar=) Welcome to Mylot!

No problem! =) Yeah, there are a lot of people on mylot always happy to answer questions! That's why I like it so much! Whenever I have a problem with ANYTHING, I come to mylot, and 9 times outta 10 I get a lot of help with it!
