I seem to always get better grades in harder classes. When I'm in an easy class, I become lazy and just don't do the work. When I'm in a hard class, I worry about getting a low grade, so I work harder and end up getting a substantially better grade than I expect. Do you also get better grades in harder classes?

I do pretty well in all my classes except for math. I am in calculus at Virginia Tech and I hate it. I have always been pretty bad at math. I have no problem with any of my other classes and I even have A's in the rest of them. I just can't get calculus. I tend to do better in the classes that are easier to me. The harder ones give me problems and I get so frustrated I just tend to give up and just take what I get on the test. The easier the class, the better grade i get.
