Is L I Q U O R a swear word?

I just made a post with the word l i q u or in it and I was made to change it to alcochol. WTF! I'm astonished. This has happened before, you can say sh*t by putting an sterisk there to spell it, like people don't know what your saying LOL. Has this happened to anyone else?
