Each semester the school book store puts up a sign sell your books back. The point is I get to sell my used books back to them it is not at half the pirce it is at the price they decided it would be, again I notice they are selling these books to other students at the full price. No one can complained. Every year we pay extra for books used or not. They claim to send the books they reject buying to Africa as if afrcia is a trash can for books. It's like Africa has become puppet begger of books. Why won't you give new things to them!!!! If you really wanna help? You just think sending the old crap that editors have messed up pages, the book is consider too old to be used; Yet it's sent to Africans. Even so African are great doctors, great scieneist today and who knows may be great leaders. It is funny that we have to go to bookstore to drop books that will never be used at any univeristy here for the university to send it to Africa. Do they think Africans are junk collectors?

I think I would put a sign up around campus to see if someone there would need the book. You could probably get more money and the students would pay the same price to you as they would to the bookstore. As far as the comment about Africa, I'm not sure what that is about. I never heard about that kind of thing. Not to say it doesn't happen, but it seems odd that they would do that. In the schools I had attended, they would have a cheap book day where any book the bookstore couldn't sell (discontinued or for other reasons) would be sold cheap to whoever wanted them.

when i went back to sell my books at the school book store here that is what they told me. Take it downstairs they will be sent to Africa. I actually, put the book in trash can, because the university does ship useless books as donation. To poor schools in Africa I don't know if they think Africans are foolish or useless. it hurts even more when I think of it. I went down stairs even the communication text books that the school cancel because of spelling errors they were sending them to Africa. I think Any African reading that book will laugh because there are great African writers. over 7pages of those books had mistakes and about four trashcan's had them .
