I was reading my local paper this morning about a poor couple who are getting up to four letters a week form debt collectors for a man they have never heard of and has never ever lived at their address. They have even had ballifs and debt collectors turn up on their doorstop. They have been to the police but have been told there is nothing they can do unless this man turns up at the house or secures a loan on thier house. Has this ever happen to you?. It has me, when my two oldest children were babies, i had the police come to the door looking for me apparently someone who was wanted for driving offences had given my name and address. Luckily they realised they had been given false information and that i was not who they were looking for.

Yes, but not the address. The home phone number and a lots of times they have been disturb me even in hours that they shouldn't but i try to do not paying too much attention when they are starting to "sell, sell, sell" their stuff.
I am wondering where they find my number and i am thinking that if i could change it they still can find it.
