cell phone code numbers

I heard that there are some code numbers(To be keyed in) to know the battery number,mobile model number,increase the power of battery by half.Can you suggest some code numbers with its purpose.

I wish I could tell you, I would like to know myself, my phone is a samsung, I love samsung, but my phone doesnt hold a charge very well. And I've never heard that there were codes to help it.
