What would make you share your money online?

If you have paypal or some other account with a balance what is the thing that would you make it share with a site or someone online? Obviously there are so many websites that are asking for donations and there are so many people on here with sad stories. Do the ads that say $1 can feed an african child for a year get your heart strings going or do you sometimes speak to people online and wish you had a way of getting some money to them. I must confess that I am very sceptical about people online and websites generally ask for you to sign up on a monthly basis to give donations and as I don't have a regular disposable income I don't feel that I can commit myself to that. Have you ever helped out an individual online or do you think that everyone should be able to find a solution to their problems themselves?

i dont tend to believe anything i see online, i'm such a hardbutt that way, i'd rather take 5 bucks and give it to the local bum or shelter than some nameless/identiless person online..

Yeah I think I am the same. I constantly give money to the homeless in my city but something about giving it to people from other places really doesn't appeal to me.

yup . ..killahclaire! ur are a logic woman, that's good consideration.. u don't believe 100% to them. i think if have balance in ur account just shop to something usefull. and then if want to share with another people or make a donation! don't in website but u just give it direct to foundation near with u. and yeah,,everyone should be able to find a solution to their problems themselves. i agree if u remark that. cause human can live with their talet to break their problem! if there are some people can't do just caused they to weak! they give up before try!
