woman throws kids off bridge.

Oh my god I was sitting here on mylot with the tv on and over heard that a woman in Dallas, TX. threw her 6 and 8 year old children off a bridge on to the eastbound lanes of hwy 30 and then jumped herself. they all survived but come on people what could make someone do that to there own child.
It's a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

I certainly hope they took the kids away from the mother? And the other instances, of mothers killing their children, why is it no one had any evidence of the mothers having mental problems?

This is a very sad thing. Something like this happened to a lady I babysat for years ago. Her boyfriend did not like or want another man's children but he wanted her. He threw a 3 year old and a 1 year old off the bridge between Hood River Oregon and Bingen, WA. into the Columbia River. They police knew who did it. The mother woke to find her children gone and the guy told her what he did. He tried to get her to go with him down to Bolivia. They never caught him he fled before they could apprehend him to South America where he could hide out. This as 29 years ago.
People do stuff like this for lots of reasons, jealousy, revenge, desperation, homlessness, no family or help. Social Services is not always there to help often they turn someone down for being over by 10 cents. She might have lost her job, home, or something else. Glad they survived hope she and the kids get the help they need.
