How do I make my nails stronger? Help!

I've been getting acrylic nails done at the salon for a very long time, and I want to stop doing it to save money, but I know that my natural nails are very thin, weak, and will break easily. What can I do to make them stronger or protect them from breaking? Is there a good nail polish that will help prevent breakage? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

well, i guess the more expensive a nail polish is, the better it is. but i do know that if you paint your nails regularly, it is good for your nails. even if you just coat it with transparent nail polish, i heard that it's good. but sometimes, you can't help having thin, weak and easily breakable nails. it's natural. some of my neighbours have that kind of nails too. i don't think you'll see the changes fast but do paint your nails. it will make them look nice and at the same time, make it stonger if i'm not wrong. best of luck.
