15 pounds of alumnium cans that paid 85 cents a pound. While we drink lots of cola's and pepsi's here, usually cash the cans in once a month. Last month the cans where bringing .72 cents a pound. If I was in the big city I could get the top dollar of about $1.35 a pound.
Do you save your beverage cans?

I do and believe in recycling. I recycle everything I can get my hands on. When I was in high school taking in cans and alluminam(sp) were my biggest money makers. I would collect from everyone around the block and wow I remember I made $85 one trip. Well worth the pay back. NY recycles and give you money for such efforts.
