Do you have a beauty ritual???

I was just thinking as I was sitting here mylotting that every single night I go through he11 to keep myself younger and hopefully prettier. Yeah, I know that wrinkle creams don't work but it doesn't stop me from shelling out for them and slapping them all over my face every night. So right now I have my Minty Mud Mask on my face, my white strips on my teeth. I just took a long hot bath which I do every night. Once my mask comes off, I will then put on my toner, eye cream, and wrinkle cream. I can't not go through my beauty ritual every night even though I'm not sure how well it works. So my question is what is your favorite beauty ritual or products??? What can you not go without doing?? Showers and tooth brushing are obvious. I'm talking about day or night time beauty rituals. Maybe you are someone who just doesn't care..I'd like to hear about that as well. So share your beauty stories or secrets!! Thanks for reading!

Nice and easy I like it. Being at the end of pregnancy too I can't imagine that you would even feel like it anyway. Those times in my life were when I let my beauty ritual go. But then again being pregnant, I had beautiful glowing skin and beautiful hair. Darn I wish I could get those effects without added children..LOL Have a great day!

I too have various lotions and potions that I use morning and night to try and keep the lines and wrinkles at bay! The creams dont get rid of them, unfortunately, but some of them hold them at bay! I use an oil at night, its pretty good and you can use it all over your body, and put it in the bath its also good for my daughters exzcema I have recently discovered. In a morning I use an undereye shadow cream, now they are good, they work really well at getting rid of dark shadows under the eye. I tell you something else I have noticed in the last couple of days too, I have been drinking a lot of bottled water through the day and I have this one line on my face, a frown line and when I drink water at night time its gone! So I am trying to keep in the habit of drinking more water, although its hard because I find it quite boring.

I'm with you on the water..it is boring and I always have to force myself to drink it. What cream do you use under your eyes if I can ask. I need a good one..I have circles myself and nothing seems to help but some people say that their circles have been taken away by a cream. I use Jojoba Oil in my bath and on my body sometimes and I love that too! :) Thanks for sharing your secrets!

I like Nivea stuff I will have to try that too! I have Bio oil but I'm afraid it would be too greasy for my combo skin! Do you use it everywhere on your face or do you limit it to certain areas!

Its one by nivea, I think they do a few under eye creams for shadows and lines, but most of the shadow creams work as I have tried them all! I usually buy which ever one is on offer at the time. I use Bio Oil, I dont know if you have ever heard of it, it is excellent, you have to use it for a couple of weeks before you see a result, but its great stuff.

I cleanse my face every other day with witch hazel. Its less drying than alchohol and I no longer have acne. Then again, I drink green every day. I think genetics has alot to do with skin so luckily I dont have to do much. Then again, I dont wear any makeup, just lipstick. Well, thats my ritual, witch hazel and green tea :D

I have about a dozen bottles of eye cream, wrinkle cream, toners, stretch mark eraser cream, mud masks, foot softeners, you name it, I probably have it. I am diligent for about 2 weeks or so and then when I don't see any significant improvements I stop using it. There are some days I don't have the energy to change out of my pajamas.

Hello Skinnychick, LOL you a have pretty amusing beauty ritual eh? =) As for me, I don't get to do that much. Of course as what you said, showers and tooth brushing are obvious LOL. So me, I wash my face with facial wash- the one which is for blemish free, fights the 7 signs of skin aging, like dull, oily skin etc, then I will put on facial moisturizer. Before sleeping I will put an eye stress reducer gel which has a cooling effect- removing the darkness around the eyes. That's it for me.

I'm holding the bottle now LOL! Its brand is St.Ives- Eye Stress Gel. It has cucumber and elastin which soothes instantly to help diminish lines and puffiness around eyes. =)

I think thebest beauty ritual that has so far worked for me is keeping my face and hair clean. Once the dirt and grime are out of your pores, the skin automatically glows. if you are past your twenties, it would help to slather a good moisturiser at bedtime and a sunscreen during the day to avoid early wrinkles and blemishes.
