What side is the safer side of the Road to walk on????? / myLot

Hi there. Does anybody else other than myself have a preference of which side they feel safer on??? I know I feel safer on the Opposite side to what the traffic is going. I feel it is just harder to be bowled over cos of the fact that the traffic has got to smash into something else if there's anything else before they can come all the way over your side of the road and smash you landing you up in A&E/E.D and possibly dead after the accident. Call me paranoid or whatever but that is just the way I see it. Catch ya later.

for me it is safer to walk on the side of the road where you can see the vehicles coming towards you. in that way will know what to do if a something happens. unlike the side where vehicles are coming at your back, you need to look back just to check if something is wrong or not.

Hi there Noyarbry. Thanks for your response. I am just seeing the side of the road people prefer nothing else but a query. I think so too. I agree with you. It's safer walking on the opposite side where you won't get your back smashed into and you will be able to see what is coming towards you. Catch ya later. Good traveling.
