Do you believe that Dinosaurs have feathers?

I'm shocked when an officemate of mine told me yesterday that we got it all wrong. Dinosaurs are not all reptiles. He said that there are bird-like dinosaurs such as therapods. He said that Chinese scientists found a fossil that proves that dinosaurs have feathers. Do you think it's true? To the moderator. I hope you wouldn't mind if I create this thread in here. I'm trying to look for interests about science but it seems that you don't have such categories. I suggest, you put some of it because I know a lot of us are interested to learn something about facts and myths in science. Thank you for understanding.

Yeah I agree. Not all birds can fly. Look at quails. They do have small wings but they can't fly. But they do have feathers. Am i correct? Penguins are birds as well, right?

I do not think so.As I know, dinosaurs are reptiles, not birds.Maybe those Chinese scientists really found a fossil which proved dinosaurs have feathers. That is just one kind of theory. This kind of theory should be proved by the other authority organization or scientists to prove. That is important. Before the confirmation came out, everything may happen. So,I do insist my idea up to now, that is I do not believe dinosaurs have feathers.
