In this world people killed in the name of religion, terrorist attacked in the name of religion and insurgents killed themselves together with their enemies in the name of religion. For your information, I do believe in God and to me this world maintain peace and harmony because each and everyone of us do believe in our own religion. Say, if this world is without religion and there is not a single believer of any religion, do you think we can live in peace and harmony without any differeces in our belief and religion? Do you think we will understand and respect each other better? However, since there is no religion do you think we will commit adultery, kill as we like and no peace in this world? So, what do you think the world be like without religion?

It is human nature to separate our species into different groups. Without religion, we would eventually just find another way to classify ourselves. War, poverty, and all that good stuff will still exist. As for law, almost every single law that is in our legislature is functional. That is to say, every law is there because if someone performed the action prohibited by that law, it would cause detrimental effects to another party. Therefore, laws would still exist, they would just differ slightly.

Hi CasualFriday. You do have a point however religion seem to break up human relationship and to the extent of killing each others. It seem that religion does not benefit mankind because discrimination and segregation happeb because of religion differences. This is just my opinion. Thanks for your response.
