The question now is, why leapfrog is pending while normal submission is not?

When you submit a leapfrog, it is rated against the original article. It goes through several rates and if the new article is rated higher, the status will change from pending to accepted. If the original is rated higher the status will be rejected. Then you have to wait a week before trying again. The process can take anywhere from a couple of hours to a couple days.

Hm...i can understand, that the members will have to decide about which of the two articles will stay in the database of Helium not the same Helium. And Helium decides to accept or to reject an article proportionally i.e. when a writer make his submission to a wrong subject. I think i get it. Thanks Sillychick
