Tracey and Monica - good grief, can't they do better than that?

Wasn't that a degrading scene between Monica and Tracy last week when they were fighting over the blouse? Good grief, can't the writers do better than that? I mean, anyone wanting to hide the evidence, doesn't go back to their known place of business, and put the evidence in the trash right there. Plus, I know that time is different in soap opera world, but it was days later that Luke found it, plus, how'd they know what to look for. Whatever on that, but still, a really stupid fight and right in front of everyone talking aboaut Monica driving drunk and hitting Sam. And no one said a word - yeah, Lucky caught it but still.. they certainly could have done something better, don't you think?

I think the reason for the fight was so lucky would catch it because he knows it may have been Liz. Either way I agree that it was a stupid fight. I'm over that story line as well as most of the others.

Yeah, your right about doing it for Lucky's sake. But still... a classy professional woman like Monica and a classy villian like Tracy - degrading to both characters and totally off base. I am bored with the storylines too. Unless things change, this explosion will be my last check up for GH for awhile! Or should I say last check up for the Sonny Hour

Stupid as it seems, it still puts me in mind of the old Q days. When Monica and Lesley used to fight like that over Rick Webber and ALL of the ridiculous arguing that went on right in the Q living room. They have just expanded it to the hospital is all. Actually, I do remember a few Alan/Treacy/Monica spats like that at the hospital too! I think that they are just holding true to their characters and trying to keep the Q's in the forefront. This is a great way of letting them spend time together while Guza plans bigger and better for them. Like finding out Monica was the culprit in the hit and run. Getting Jason and Monica back on speaking terms and the biggie-- Jason telling Monica Jake is her grandson. This fight between Tracy and Monica was just a silly stepping stone before Monica reaches the absolute bottom of her drinking episodes. Can't wait for this to happen and things to start looking up for all the Q's once again!

I remember those to. but for some reason, this one was just to juvenile to be anything but stupid. We all know Monica was the hit and run, unless they suddenly bring up someone else that was there but they didn't show us. I mean fighting over corporations or something like that but wallowing over a blouse? I guess I am just so bored with the show, nothing is good anymore - I say bring Phify to the front of the class and let her dish it out to Port Charles!

The last couple of years I really haven't liked any storyline that had to do with Monica but this is just ridiculous. AND it came out of now where. All of a sudden one day Tracey decided to take on Monica. I agree stupid stupid storyline.

I know! They have just let the Q's dwindle to the side lines. And they were such a fun, disfuncitional but good at heart and trying to hard kind of family! The laughs were plentiful and the storylines were captivating. Bring back Ned! Bring back Jimmy Lee Holt Quartermaine. How about resurrecting Alexandria Quratremaine from her deep freeze! And after all Monica has been through, this is what she ends up with? They killed Alan and he was the best!
