Dear mkmsam, Ayurveda is the best for Arthritis. If you can get to kerala you can get the best of treatments. The ayurveda doctors there are the best in the whole country. I can vouch for that. The Kottakkal Ayurvaidya sala is the best. There are no side effects for this medicine. He can get relief. If the disease is in the starting period he can be cured also completely. He can contact them and decide for himself. All the best

I am sorry to hear about your father. My dad too suffers with arthritis pain. He has worked hard all his life and now at the age of 65 he is still holding down a 40 plus hour a week job. He has had steal rods put into his ankle because of the arthirtis. He has had both knees replaced because of arthritis. He has had a titanium rod put into his kneck because of arthritis. He is just all eaten up with arthritis. Even his doctor says he will live a long life but he will live it in pain. He takes three to four different pain medication to just keep the pain tollerable. He can bearly walk but he does. Nothing seems to keep him down. He is my hero. When my own arthritis acts up or my asthma is bad I look at him and push through the pain. I feel if he can so can I. It is very hard to watch him in all this pain but he has a great way about him that doesn't let anything slow him down. I have heard that eating oranges will help with arthritis but my dad has eaten oranges all his life so I do not see how these can help. I wish there was a miracle cure that would make your dad and mine better. I am forty plus and have been diognosed with arthritis in both hands as well as ankles. The doctors say they can go in and scrap off the calcium deposits but that doesn't mean the pain will go away. I have decided that I will just keep on keeping on till I can't live with the pain any more. I use heating pads to help with the stifness. I will be watching your post to see if anyone has a remedy that works for them that might help me too. Again I hope you feel better and I hope your dad feels better soon. Good luck with your post as well.
