The Sensitive Jukebox...

Touch Screen Juke Box - Way too sensitive, touch-screen jukebox.

Have you noticed how sensitive the touch-screen jukeboxes are? We've just had a new one put into the local pub, and I went down for lunch on Sunday, with the kids. After our meal, we retired to the bar for a couple of drinks, and we decided to put some music on. My Son, my eldest granddaugher and I, stood at the jukebox selecting some tunes, and it drove me mad!!! Soooo sensitive, that the slightest little touch either on, below or at the side of the screen triggered the action off, and whilst we were still reading the page that was up, it kept flipping over to the next. It must have taken us twenty minutes to find ten songs we wanted... and yes, before you ask, Bad Manners was amongst them! It was pouring with rain and blowing a gale outside, so we thought we'd liven up an otherwise dreary pub!!! Naturally, my Granddaughter chose some more modern stuff, but as it was St. Patrick's Eve, my Son and I put on some Irish Music which we could sing along to, like Wild Rover; and Special Brew, so we could jig about. And me, with my walking stick! I say "Bring back the old style, rotating jukebox, or even the digital!" I can handle those far better, and know where everything is. Blow this touch-screen lark! Would anybody else like to see the touch-screen go? I find it most infuriating!

Yes that touch-screen was a pain to say the least. You only had to point at it from half an inch away and it turned the page. I like the really old ones better. You know what you're doing with them, and what you're playing. lol.

Tell me about it! Not only that, they had so many different sections with so many songs, that it took ten minutes to find anything. Give me the old Wurlitzer any old day.
