Do you think educational DVDs are really educational?

According to a study, educational DVDs may hinder rather than help a young child's learning. If you are one of those parents who let your babies or toddlers watch these, do you think these educational DVDs helped them or not? _______________________________________________ Eversince my first born was a baby, I introduced her to educational DVDs for her age intended to stimulate her mind. Since then, she has continued to watch these DVDs and continues to learn from it as a toddler. It is for where she learned how to use sign language before she could speak, where she learned her colors, shapes, seasons, numbers, alphabet and animals, etc. Of course, I don't forget to interact and play with her as well, but I think those DVDs were certainly a big help as I see how knowledgeable she is now.

not all studies are good studies and if there is only one study I wouldn't change my habits because of that, I think educational dvd's do more good than harm for a child
