I used to go to "sunrise" services at church. Then our church had a breakfast and regular Sunday services. After that we would go to Grandmas for Easter dinner. Now I work and do not celebrate it anymore.

a lot of people have over a week off from work. Schools are closed from palm sunday to (including) monday after Easter. Stores are open on saturday, for a few hours. many travel to theri cabins in the mountains, or take their boats out and have their first trip this year. It is a time to relax and have fun - far more than a religious holyday around here.
