So why do you guys like american idol?

Mainly, it is a show that every single member of my family enjoys- young and old- so it is something we can do together and that doesn't happen often these days. I enjoy music overall. I always have. Warm sensation, chills, and all of the above. I like seeing all of the talent out there (and seeing the ones whose greatest talent is apparently only thinking they are talented). I like watching the good ones grow each week getting better and better, and the ok ones suddenly coming out of nowhere and knocking your socks off. I like listening to what the judges have to say. Is it my favorite show? I don't know. But, in part because of the nature of the show, it is the only show we don't miss an episode of, record when we can't watch it for some reason, and discuss sometimes over the course of the days between episodes. We have watched every episode of every season since season 2. :)
