There are several type of movies. What do expect from a movie when you go to watch it? Do you expect to get highly entertained by a blochbuster type of a movie or do you expect a good and realistic story that touches your heat and that you can remember for a long time.

I expect the movie to keep me on my toes and keep me intrigued to watch the movie. I have seen lots of movies that haven't done so. But many that have done so. I like all sorts of movies and yes even the true stories that have touched the hart and some that have made me cry. I just want to be intrested in a movie pretty much right from the start. If it takes more than 5 mins and nothing has happened or hasn't intriged me as of yet then I won't bother watching the movie.

That is so very true. I do love to watch movies that have something based in them. I truly did love the Pursuit of Happiness and thought that it was a great film. Some parts really did make me cry. But Will Smith and his son did an excellent job in it. Kudos to them. And thank you very much. :)

I expect a good plot. It can be conventional but it has to have good plot.I prefer for it to have a surprise ending.I like action, mystery or suspense, and drama so the films I watch Must have a good plot. The genre that I hate is the Romantic comedy.they all have the same plot. Boy meets girl. They are rude to each other, i.e. they fall in love, boy loses girl. Boy gets girl back.Hurray I rather watch grass grow.

Ya mate, Romantic comedies are often repetitive. But i found the movies 'Before Sunrise' and 'Before Sunset' very refreshing. The dialogue was very good and the story looks like it has a good chance of happening in real life.
