Getting to know friends better

I have been friends with lots of people. It amazes me when I discover more about them, like, yesterday, I went to stroll in a university with a college friend. We have been friends for more than ten years now, and it was only then that he shared that there was a time in college when he had a sem where his academic status was dismissed. So I probe on this. Then again we shared lots of stuff, most of the time about his work. As I was reflecting on this, I realized that I still have more treasures to discover about my friends and I guess, I have to exert more time in discovering them. I should not stop from being too complacent just because of the years we have known each other as friends. Anyways, I am just glad that I came to such realization. How about you, do you have friends whom you still are discovering?:)
