How often or have you ever hug with your father?

i never hug with my father too. i think that males do not like to express that feeling outside and strongly.but all of us know that we love each other inside which is most important.

Yes I did when I was younger, Sad to say though I can't hug him anymore because he passed away almost two years ago.. If there is one thing that I did learn is tell your mom and dad that you love them as much as you can and hug them even though it's tuff to do.. Just a little advice is all...

My mom hugs and tells me she loves me every time I see her. My dad doesn't show much emotion and never says I love you but I make an effort to hug him most times I see him. Like you said with your parents...it's not as easy with my dad as it is with my mom.

When I was younger, I hug my parents a lot. Now that I'm older, I only get to hug them when there's a special occasion like birthdays or mother and father's day, their anniversary, etc. I feel the same way for both my mom and dad. It feels a little awkward now hugging them for no reason at all.

I have a rather strange relationship with my parents. I consider myself to be a 'daddys girl' but yet were not that close. We can chat away as if we were mates but we rarely hug or kiss unless its a special occation. My mum, is also the same, very awkward when it comes to saying goodbyes and hugging and kissing. But yet when I met my partner I had a whole different family experience!! They were hugging and kissing everytime someone left the house!! Its good to keep the love and closeness of a family there. It's rubbed off on me quite a bit and always kiss my partner or son if they or I are going out. xox

I dont hug my father as we have a very poor relationship. He only came back into my life 2 years ago as he left when i was 2 years old and i never saw him for over 22 years. Now he is back inmy life we are more like friends that father and daughter and i would find it very uncomfortable to hug him.
