i dont think the chinese government will give Tibet what they ask. they dont want another Taiwan incident. i think the Dalai Lama can still keep his spirit under pressure because he is a man with a positive outlook in life. he is an optimist and an individual with great character. i admire him for that.

lol. god your so hilarious. China's image had long been ruined, since the Sudan incident and its human rights atrocities. you just find someone to take the blame. so ok. granted that the Dalai Lama is at fault......how can you justify China's atrocities towards Sudan, huh?? lol.

Why you are sure that dalai lama is doing good, and Chinese government is doing bad? I am not sure, I do know who is right, cause I don't all the details of their relationship. Maybe dalai is one of the member in Chinese government. No one can judge this. What we can do is that we keep silence and wait what's going on.

It's a horrible travesty what is still happening over in Tibet in the first place especially in the 21st century. People are still using violence instead of discussion, if anything, this is where the U.S. should offer their military aid...wait, no strike that, the U.S. seems to have a way of making the situation worse...the Tibetan people are so fortunate to have the Dalai Lama in the man that he is. I am a great admirer of him and would consider it one of my life's greatest honor's to meet him. I hope he continues to be a calming peaceful presence for the Tibetan people in the world for many years to come and I sincerely wish for the Tibetan people to realize their dream.

nobody acres about CNN or whoeverelse. i honestly believe in the man. he's the spiritual leader of his land so he's like responsible for his people. if push comes to shove, will you let your people take the suffering and just pray or take some legal action??? will you just close your eyes and shut your ears and do nothing or take some measure even if its against your principles?? because at the end of the day the Dalai Lama is still HUMAN!! you people decide.

do you know the Tibet's before,do you believe that most of tibetian want to back to before? that's a large problem, you know little Tibet's before and little most of Tibetian's mind. you only know what Dalai said but not foucs what he does. I tell you the slavery is the Tibet's before, most of Tibetian were slaves.

Actually the Dali Lama was not just spiritual leader but also sovereign. Airhead... what evidence do you have so support your claim that Tibetans were slaves, that is just propaganda of your government. all the best urban

Ok,he said him do not want freedom for his land, but he want more special autonomy for tibet. Why him want more special autonomy.because him want the power of the tibet. If the reason is let tibet become better! The tibet must be in a peace of enviroment. They should believe the goverment. The goverment has the ability to make it better and better.Like the shanghai, shenzhen and so on.This is a hard process. All of the guys should understand the goverment because of the china is so big. so the Dalai Lama is not a seint. He is a evil!

Historically Tibet was a sovereign state and was such when the Chinese invaded. His desire for special autonomy is to protect the country. The Chinese have already destroyed many important temples and shrines in Tibet. The Deli Lama is not evil, what possible justification can you offer for that statement. You are clearly brainwashed by your countries propaganda. China signed a treaty recognizing Tibet's sovereignty, this document is open to inspection there can be no doubt about it, then they went back on that treaty and invaded Tibet. all the best urban.

Should the religion is involved with the politics? Except you regard the reglion as a tool which can be used to control your believers,to resist the nation's rules,to betray the nation. None state will tolerate this religion happened.
