I wonder what is the ideal number of students that a class room should contain so that education is most effecient.

In a classroom i really think there should only be 25 students tops. Beyond that it just gets too crowded and the teacher hardly has enough time to get through a lesson uninterupted much less explain anything to someone who doesnt get it. It is simply too hard to get a lesson accross to more than 25 kids at a time.

25 is the best number as i also think. cause alot of students complain of too much noise in crowded classes especially the good students.

I think it depends on the type of class. In an oral class, it would be best to have less than 30; but in a lecture class where there is a lab attached, it could be several hundred. If there is such a large group, there should be a discussion section that is made up of no more than 30 so everyone can get their questions answered. When I was in labs, the classes sometimes only had 10-15 students so if there were problems, lab assistants could help them. As far as a primary school, there should definitely be less than 30 because that is the only way students can get the attention they need in order to not fall behind if they have difficulty.
