If you had to chose one person you would die for, Who would you chose?

I ask this question, for it has been my own.
Here is the scenario:
Say that you were given a choice and someone said that you had to die for someone else, who would you pick?
Or better yet. What person do you think would die for you? IF they had too?
I have played these thoughts in my head over and over. I have come to the conclusion that if I had to chose who I would die for, it would be my father. Not because I love him more, but because I feel that if I did, it would change him forever.
As for who I think would die for me? My mother. I believe 100% that if she had to she would because of that motherly instinct to protect her child.

I would not have to be forced to make a decision all i would have to do is know i could take the place of any of my kids or any other family member for that matter and as for who would die for me I have to I hope no one because I could not live with that

It would have to be my children as they have their whole live in front of them. And in my case if someone had to die for me it would be my partner.

I had read one discussion here in mylot saying that there are times that even if its all about love, there are things that still we can't do. But for your question let me answer this, I think my mother would also die for me 100%, if I also have my own kids I think I would do it for them without any hesitation. As for now, it will be my mom, but if I had to choose between my mom and my kids (let's say i have kids by that time),,, it will be my kids,,, I'm sure my mom will understand my decision.
