I'm not sure what exactly is going on there. Has China given any information on the situation? I only know what I have heard and none of it comes from China. In fact, I can't do a search on it because China seems to block most of the information on anything that it doesn't want its people to know about. What's going on with that??? I can't make an informed decision if I don't have ALL of the information. I only know what people have told me!!! Where were these objective and just media??

I wish I could cut and paste!!! There is so much more information that they are not giving you!!! If you see only one side of the story, that is all you will know. Unfortunately, I can't read Chinese so I can only go by what people tell me one way or the other. The whole thing has me extremely irritated. From what I have read, the Chinese government has "quelled the protests". Why don't they what the people want??? Why are they so afraid of losing a little territory??? With as many people and as much territory as China has, why do they want to be so controlling??? I'm not trying to start a fight here, but some people have a very limited view of what is going on in the world.

I dont think any country can let go of its territory easily,China have been forced to give up so much of its territory in the recent 150 years that can make up a country larger than Australia,we lost our lands back then because we were weak, most of the western countres humiliated us by taking a piece of place like HongKong or split a piece to be an independent country like Republic of Mongolia.we have had enough of this kind of humiliation, now we are becoming strong no one ever can do that again! we will fight until the last person in this country to protect our territory. You have heard so many horror things about Tibet I'm sure most of them were fabricated,I will upload the photos about how these western media are doing this if you wanna check it out, they are in my page.

if you want something done, then you should take your rants in who you see is the problem. e-mail CNN or Fox, discuss what you see is right. dont trouble anyone who disagrees your arguments. you cant be right all the time.

hi,guys.i'm a chinese living in shanghai.though,i'm familiar with the whole violence happend in Tibet.I just got the information from our national TV station and the other media controled by the nation.so,just as what you guys said, all those reports are very unilateral. conversely, can you belive what you got the information from the cnn,or other news reporter, are correct or true? OK,let's get out the the tibet topic.let's talk about the truth of news. Now,i've saw our CCTV broadcast channel exposed several foreign news media distorted the truth. And they showed the evidence on the TV.You can check the details on the web. unfortunately,I hadn't saw the explanation from those exposed western media. If they reported the real news, why even do not give a debate? so,from now on,i'd better to adjust my personal view-point. All the media have their own standpoint.they servered for their nation.it's a weapon controled by his government to shoot to the enemies. last,i think both of us should calm down obout this discussion. No need to trust the media unilaterally.

yes!. we've seen the carnage in Tibet taken not by foreign media but by our own country's media. we've also seen video footage on both sides. we've seen Tibetian refugees rallying towards UN embassy but Chinese Troops banging and slashing them with sticks and kicking them preventing them from going to UN embassy. around 50 people were arrested. here's the interesting part. our local reporter(philippines) snap interviewed Chinese spokesperson( forgot the name) but the daringly said that we have no permission to take footages and if we want we can get our reports from what the Chinese media would realese! whats that??? its a clear way of manipulating the media. how's that?? we just want the Chinese's gov. side on the matter.
