I came across a sentence when i read a newspaper today:"Being ordinary is a gift", and after thinking carefully on it i think it really makes sense. Being a famous person will definitely bring you a lot of good things: reputation, money, power, and even beautiful women.:) However, every coin have two sides, there are a lot of disadvantages for being famous. So i think maybe being ordinary is kind of good thing in another way. So what do you guys think? would you like to be ordinary or famous? Why?

I think I would rather be ordinary than famous any day.. I know being ordinary I can be myself and do what I want when I want and being famous it's almost like I am being told what to do all the time.. I don't think I could really live my life like that.. I don't take orders to well... But that's just me!

just as you said, each coin has two sides.while we regard different things as priority in different life stages. when we are young,we go after monry, power, reputation, etc.in our late years,we pay more attention to health, children and so on.it all depends on our choice and choice itself is no wrong.what important is we should to understand ourselves first.to know what we really want, then go for it.in that case,to give up something to in exchange with is worthy.

I agree that being ordinary is a gift. When you think about it, many ordinary people do extraordinary things. You may not get money for them, but you get satisfaction for doing something good. I would rather do volunteer work where I am happy than get a million dollars for something that gives no satisfaction.
