i need help from you---mylotters in high school...i wonder whether you have so many homework which always takes you a whole evening(within three or four hours)to finish...it's been bothering me since i returnd school after my winter holidays...what about your schools and homework? and what do you think of the advantages or disadvantages of too much homework?

i dont think there are any disadvantages of too much homework, your teachers assigned them to you for a reason. Back when i was in high school, my chem and physics reports took me a whole evening too, and even the whole night. So i guess if you're studying science, you will have even more when finals come. Dont worry you will have a lot of free time during summer. good luck in your homeworks =)

thanks for replying...i know that our teachers arrange it for this reason...but still i can't understand why the homework they assigh is so useless!...we like learning machines that slways copying and copying what has no value. for example, to study english we just do many papers about grammers every day but miss the opportunities to learn how to speak in it?!...and is that significative for us to have so many terrible exams? huuu...our english teachers have said that where there is english,there is fun....at least i can't find such fun in our school!and in most of chinese schools. that is what really bother me now...

Well, maybe your teachers want you to catch up with the lessons... and homework is the best way for that... but the best thing for you to do is to set a study time and try to balance everything... i don't think having that many homework will continue on forever... so just bear with it...
