A 57 year-old-woman, who initially feared she had ovarian Cancer, instead found out she was pregnent with her first child. the woman was sent to hospital for emergency tests on her swelling belly eight weeks ago. however she was conratulated by the sonographer who told her she was almost 30 weeks pregnant. She was one of the oldest mother in the hospital history after she gives birth to a baby by caesarean section next week."We're very exited about it.It is our miracle baby" said the mother. She has tried for several years to have a baby by IVF treatment. The baby, according to all the scans, is developing normally. She thought her final hope had been dashed a few months ago when she suffered what appeared to be a miscarriage within four weeks of two fertilised embryos being implanted at a fertility clinic. Her doctor told her she had miscarried and a blood test and home pregnancy test appeared to confirm this by showing negative. When she felt unwell a month ago, she went to the doctor, who asked her to take scan of her belly.... and she has been declared as pregnant.....God's miracle..Isn't it?

By the Grace of God. Although I wouldn't want to be a mom at her age, I am happy for her. My niece also miscarried only to find out she was still pregnant. She miscarried one twin. God does work in ways only known to him.

There must be something about the hormones in older women not showing up in pregnancy tests! it happened to me and even though I knew I was really pregnant, most people would believe the doctor! All I did was wait a few more months and then get the test done, when the hormones were strong enough to be detected! So I do also believe it goes to show that we cannot believe everything we are told, even by a doctor! It is good that she did not have a common procedure done after her "miscarriage" which would have destroyed her one remaining fetus! I think she will have the energy it takes to raise her child.
