Man proposes and god disposes. If you are happy what you are doing then it is ok. I shall tell you a real story. I was touring US in 1990's. I stayed in youth hostel (cheap accommodation) and shared a large room with a pakistani, an american, myself(Indian), 2 indians settled in Canada. This ameican is a run-away guy. While exchanging pleasantaries, we noticed he was sad. After coaxing him to tell the problem, he explained that he loved a negro girl and the small town where he was working was against their marriage. Now he has no job. Can you imagine no job in US. Although I was on tourist visa, I knew where one can find a job. We suggested him that we would take him to McDonalds, K-mart or some place to find job immediately to ensure his buread and butter. He wouldn't come. Reason being (in his) I am a roofer myan. I do roofting job myan. Aye cyant do any jaab myan. What we understood is that he was a specilaist roofting and would like to continue in the same profession. Our hostel was in downtown of Washington and we did not know where to get a roofing job for him. We said we shall try next morning and bid good night. Morning we woke only to see he is not there. A small note: Thanks for your help. I will find roofting job myself. I appreciate that determination.
