Watching his performance in Austrelia , don't you think Yuvraj should take rest for some time? Just scoring few runs in one match do you think he reserves his place in team?

Yuvraj is one of the best.He exhibits overall performance.Hes an excellent batsman, outstanding fielder and sometimes been useful as bowler too.Hes been a BACKBONE to the middle order. well' you can't judge by his performance in one series.Remember he had been the man of the series in three succeeding series in 2005-06......that was a hatrick ,wasn't that????Once against Sri Lanka next against South Africa(shared by him & smith)and then on INDIA tour to pak(in the last match of the series ,Dhoni and Yuvi displayed a wonderful partnership.... that was their diwali dhamaka)...Since then he has maintained good batting average.I feel he plays well when Dhoni is his partner on the field. Its obvious that almost all batsmen were out of form atleast once in their career. When Sehwag can be given so many chances then why not yuv ????Not to forget he has scored 76 from 70 balls(10 fours &1 six)against Sri Lanka in the 8th match and also his performance wasn't very bad in the 2nd final(38 from 38 ,2fours & 2 sixes).......this is a positive sign So i feel he should be given a chance and i 'm sure he'll get back to form but with lil more concentration on the game than on actresses & bolywood &ramp.Still,if hes not in form then he should be made to rest.

It all depends on the pitch and the form that a batsman have on that particular day makes him the best or worst batsman. As far as the pitches of Australia are concerned, not many quick scoring batsman not only from India, but even from other countries were able to prove themselves. He could be given rest if he doesnot do well in the first match against South Africa.
