So , i sent my ex boyfriend a message on Myspace .
Then i changed my display name and it has something about my new boyfriend (i actually dont have a new boyfriend) someone told me to pretend like i do to get my ex boyfriend back or to make him want me again..
Is this the trick ? does it work ? any answers ?

I don't like the way you are going about this. You are lying to him. Why lie to him? If you want him back so bad talk to him about your feelings. If he shares the same feelings and wants you back you will get back together. If not then move on with your life. I don't know why you would listen to your friend either about this but each their own. Just don't understand why you are doing it this way. Do it the honest way. You are acting very childish and need to grow up a little. Sorry if this has come off as a little rude but this is my opinion on this subject and this matter.

Hey Britt! Sometimes it does work and other times it doesn't. I fell like if he really loves you then he will fall for it. I think he will fall for it because he knows that girls like us (Me and you)come rare. So when hesees that you so called have a new man he will really want you back because good women are hard to find and come upon. So he will feel bad and really want towork things out Britt.
