what are some ways to relieve stress?

I have been working all day, and at the end of the day when i was finishing up my last bit of work, my computer crashed. i have a deadline, and now i'm pretty much done for, i am going to have to book it to make up the work that I have missed. i am completely stressed out and about to lose my mind. I need some stress relieving ideas to help me through. Please give me ideas i'm really upset, and completely stressed out.

I usually paint, but I'm an art major and I don't know if you'd enjoy that. Play with play dough! That can help. I've done that and it did help relax me. Even making it can help relax you. Something about it hitting the pressure points in your hands just right. Try a foot soak. If you have a favorite tea then make yourself a cup of that and add a foot soak. You may have to use that bathroom majorly after that though. lol If you live somewhere remote just scream. Doing that can help the tension a lot. I hope you find something to help though even if you don't take anything I've said.

Actually you are right, i sat down and my children and I painted a little while, and then we did crafts. It's a completely awesome way to relieve stress. Thanks so much for the advice. I used it and it worked so well. Although though i wish sometimes I could just scream that would be awesome lol. Thansk so much, it really helps.

I would calm down first by thinking of the good things left in life and then watch a funny show on tv or a funny movie that will make you laugh. Then after you are calmed down just relax and drink a cup of coffee or tea. that should help

walk away from your computer for a while. take a deep breath and take a walk outside. just to smell some fresh air. it'll hopefully clear your head. when you feel like you've already replenished your lost energy then get inside and face your work again. go through it all once more and maybe you could find a way to speed it up. i'm praying you would discover a new perspective as well. which is, life and your work isn't so bad after all. you're lucky to have it. if all else fail, quit your job. kidding! hehe.

when you go home take a shower and have a cup of milk and have good sleep!well ,i usually do it like that ,or just calling some firends and have some nice talk !
