Increasing Star rating.

Next to each discussion and response a user makes, is a light green [+][-}[!]. A user's star rating is increased if they get more positive ratings, and is decreased if they get more negative ratings. I am not sure of the effect one's star rating has on their earnings, I hope it has no effect, because there are many people who post great responses and discussions but somehow have low ratings...

An increase in star rating does not equate to an increase in earnings here in mylot... it is more like a reputation... the higher the star the higher the reputation... So if you want to get the highest which is 10 blue star rating... just keep on posting quality discussions and quality responses... if would also help if you rate other discussins and responses as well...

It can't be directly increased by you. it is dependent on how other users are rating you. i think you can help it in indirect way.Try to post not so small, valuable post and I am sure more will rate you positive.

The stars have nothing to do with the pennies you get per posting. The star is your rating within the community. A red star and nine rating is quite high. Just enjoy it!!!

Hi Arjun. The star rating is a reputation on how good or nice are your responses and how good yuor topic postings are. This is rated by members of myLot as well using the [+][-] rating beside each response or topic. I dont know if it in some way increases your earnings here but I think in a way, maybe not directly but it may have a contribution. For me my star rating gives me confidence that other members see that I give quality responses and rate them as well when they respond to my topic. So lets keep on rating discussions and topics and help one another here in myLot and enjoy as much!
